Monday:This was a very busy start to the week as we had our mini company judging!Two judges came to the school from the Kildare Enterprise board.Each mini company group had their stalls set up about their product and the judges walked around and looked at each mini company idea.Each group then had to tell the judges about their product.Towards the end of the day the judges gave 3 groups from each class an award.Luckily,the group I am in 'Hair Couture' won the innovation award and along with 3 other groups,we were shortlisted to go to the County final!We may not actually reach this stage,but we should know by the end of next week if we got through or not!Fingers crossed we do!Well done to all the other mini company groups too :)
Tuesday:On Tuesday,we made lemon cheesecake in home ec and i have to say I really enjoyed it!
In technology once again my group and I are working on designing our 'F1 car,Petrolic' and looking for sponsorship for the competition.
Wednesday:It was my third Wednesday in Peamount healthcare for work experience,you can read all about my day when i have my blog updated in my work experience blogs :)
Thrusday:This was another very busy day!In Geography we contiuned working on our 'All Around The World' powepoint presentation which we are beginning to present to the class tomorrow!The three countries Hannah and I decided to do our powerpoint on are Australia,Morocco and Peru :)
In English,we have been working on drama.We are split into groups where we all pick a fairytale and we have to change the ending.Katie and I chose to work with 'Snow White' on Thrusday,we watched groups peform the first scene of their chosen fairytale and Katie and I also performed ours!There all very good so far,with lots of good humour and I am looking forward to seeing the finished fairytales!
In Music,two girls did their performance for the class and as a class,we were split into playing the piano,guitar and percussion instruments along to the song 'Give me Love' by Ed Sheeran!
Friday:In Irish,we finished reading the play we are going to perform and we also got our role in the play.Next week we will begin to practice our Irish play.
In Art I began my cassete drawing piece,I am drawing Niall Horan and I began to draw him!
