Busy week ahead!

In T.Y we entered a number of different competitions.Two of these were mini company and the F1 in schools competition in technology.As I  have said before on one of my previous blogs,luckily the group I am part of for Mini Company,'Hair Couture' reached the Kildare County final which is tomorrow,Monday and the group I am in for the f1 competition,'Team Petrolic' reached the regional final which takes place on Friday.

Tomorrow,the Mini Company competition takes place in Naas. Wehave to set up a display and also present a 3 minute powerpoint presentation to the judges about our step by step book of hairsytles,Hair Couture. I am looking forward to see the other mini companies from Kildare tomorrow :)

On Friday,in Griffith College,the F1 in schools regional competition takes place.Team Petrolic's design team designed the car and it is now made and the finishing touches are being made to the F1 car and it will be set to race on Friday! We have to present a 5 minute powerpoint presentation on Friday and we also are adding our finishing touches to the portfolio that we will have to have ready for the competiton on Friday!The F1 car  Team Petrolic designed will be raced against a number of different schools on Friday!

I am really looking forward to these two competitions and am delighted to have got this far,I hope we do well this week too!

 Well done to all the great mini companies and f1 cars and good luck to Williams Words who are also competing in the competiton tomorrow and Team Rapido y Furioso who are part of the F1 competition!
